Anyway, theres a lot of peer pressure and persecution against those prosperity people from the religious Christians, so there must be some truth to it! Right?
Finally the evangelist, the Bearer of the Good News replied, For centuries, the enemy has made every attempt to limit wealth to a just a few in the church and government. Today, he works feverishly to distort the full gospel message in order to prevent the spreading of the Grace of the Good News of the New Covenant; good news that includes redemption from the entire curse, the restoration for health and wealth.
But what about pride? asked the businessman.
Let me ask you this, said the evangelist, Did you love God in your prosperity?
Oh, Yes, with my whole heart! replied the man.
Did you love God before you were wealthy and even in your poverty ?
Yes! With my whole heart as well! But when I heard that prosperity was bad and that materialism was the big problem in the church, I kind of lost my trust in Gods plan to prosper me. I mean, was it REALLY His will? For where the will of God is not known, faith is impossible. Ultimately I just ended up losing the motivation to keep my businesses thriving and that meant less work for those whom I employed from the church.
.I mean, why would I work so hard to displease God and go against his will? My only desire is to follow Him. So, I quickly gave away my riches to the poor, and now I have nothing left to give except my meager tithe to the pastor and his family so that the curse will not come upon me and perhaps the floodgates will be opened.
And then the wise man of God began to prophesy, he said, Go back to Genesis, to the beginning, back to My commission fill the earth with THE BLESSING. Start revelating in those COVENANT PROMISES of THE BLESSING that I passed down through Abraham, and begin to trust in the finished work of the cross of the Son of my LOVE, that work He accomplished which reestablished THE BLESSING of Eden for the Gentiles, as well as the Jews. If you dont, you may become one of those poor, homeless people begging from the church fund and from the worlds governmental economic system. thus says the Lord.
The teacher then said to the businessman, Give and it shall be given to you means you have to have something to give, in order to be given to. It truly is more BLESSED TO GIVE than to RECEIVE, these words from the Savior are LITERAL. Give as led by the Spirit. Listen and respond to your Shepherds voice. Sogive joyfully and give expectantly, not begrudgingly and religiously, but intentionally, with an expectation of receiving, for God loves a cheerful giver. And as you sow, you shall reap. You can only give away what you KNOW you possess. God provides seed for the sower and bread for the eater.
Most people dont realize this but its actually the LOVE of money that is the root of all evil. Who LOVES money more, those who have or those who have not? It depends on the heart. Sometimes the poorest people love money the most because its all they think about and strive forpoverty consumes the poor. Peace and wealth and prosperity and health all work from the inside out so...
