"His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!" Matthew 25:21
I love this verse of scripture because it very much so applies to my life as well as others! God has entrusted us with purposes and plans that He has for us in this world. No matter how great or how small they may seem. Jesus Christ has put His Holy Spirit inside of us for such a time as this. We were born to be His dream birthed in the earth. A light and a hope to those who are in darkness and lost without Him.
God has given us His Holy Spirit in order that we may be faithful in all He gives and tells us to do. "His plans are to prosper us and never to harm us. They are to give us a hope and a future." (Jer.29:11) His plans are so big and inconceivable for the believer that "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has planned for those who love Him." (1Cor.2:9)
Can we not trust a God like that? If His plans are that big for all of us then can we not handle the little tasks He gives us now? Can we not believe that we are doing the things we do for His sake and His glory? His plans for us will come to pass if we believe and trust Him that they will! Let us be the bright shining lights we were born to be; let us love the people around us; let us look past our circumstances and keep our eyes fixed on Jesus! Then we can know just how much we are being used to change the world around us & just how much we already are and will be used for His kingdom's sake! AMEN
